Like many riders all over the country, riders in South Lanarkshire have no choice but to ride on the roads. This is becoming more dangerous. For safety reasons, therefore, many riders and drivers look for off-road riding opportunities. Many others would like the opportunity to ride and drive along tracks, bridleways, drove roads or across fields as an alternative to the busy roads they are usually restricted to. SLHAPAG, set up in 1994, deals specifically with the issue of access for local riders and drivers of horses and ponies. Click here for routes in South Lanarkshire
